Autolite - Just In Case

Nowadays, it's almost inconceivable to leave home without a cell phone.

Without that familiar bulge in our bags or pockets, we somehow feel vulnerable. Less safe.

When I forget my phone, the "what ifs" roll through my head like movie credits: What if the school is trying to reach me? What if there's been an accident? What if I left a hot iron on a stack of newspapers and my house is burning to the ground?

I don't think I'm the only paranoid lunatic who does this. (But what if I am? Where's my cell phone?)

Ever since that initial purchase made "for safety reasons," we rely on our cell phones for just that: safety.

When the Parent Bloggers Network asked me if I wanted to review a car safety product, I thought, why not?

Now, after receiving a set of two Autolite Flareglo Safety Lites, I can't imagine leaving home without them.

These reusable, super bright LED (Light Emitting Diode) flare lights give me peace of mind.

What if my car breaks down on a deserted road at night, or on a busy highway with fast-moving cars and trucks? What if I need help?

Unlike conventional roadside flares which last for 15 minutes, Autolite Flareglo Safety Lites will blink rapidly for a minimum of 12 hours and can be seen from 500 feet away. They're easy to use and safe, powered by two AAA Alkaline batteries.

Oh - and at just $11.99 per 2-pack, you really can't afford not to buy them.

Because, well...what if you drive into a ditch at night during a blizzard? What if your car battery dies and you're stranded without a cell phone in the mall parking lot after closing time? What if...
